How it works
- Paste your tags
Type or paste your page title, meta description and URL — or paste your whole <head> and hit auto-fill.
- See the real preview
The title is measured in pixels, exactly how Google decides what gets cut off. Desktop and mobile side by side.
- Fix what’s flagged
Plain-English checks tell you what to shorten, add or rewrite — then re-paste and watch it pass.

Common questions
What does a Google SERP preview show me?
A SERP preview renders your page title, URL and meta description the way Google displays them in search results — including where Google cuts off a title that is too wide. This tool shows both the desktop layout and a typical mobile layout, and flags titles over Google’s roughly 600-pixel truncation limit.
How long should my meta title be?
Google truncates titles by pixel width, not character count — around 600 pixels on desktop, which usually works out to 50–60 characters. Wide characters take more room than narrow ones, so measuring pixels is the only accurate check. This tool measures your exact title width.
Why isn’t Google showing my meta description?
Google rewrites the snippet when it thinks other page content matches the search better. A missing, very short, or keyword-stuffed meta description makes a rewrite more likely. A clear description around 150–160 characters that matches the page content is your best shot at keeping it.
Is this SERP preview tool really free?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser — there is no account, no usage limit and nothing is uploaded anywhere. The preview and all the checks happen on your own device.
Does it check how my page looks on mobile search?
Yes. Alongside the desktop preview you get a mobile-width preview, since most searches now happen on phones and titles truncate much earlier on small screens.
